Dear Debbie:

The vendors you have hired that usually receive
gratuity for their
services are your catering staff, bar service and
transportation service.
This is the range of 18% to 20% of their total fee.

The florist, cake, decor and rental facility usually
do not receive any
gratuity and it is not expected.

The photographer in some circumstances does receive
gratuity but usually
after services are completed this is when you have
chosen your album and
photos well after the wedding.  This can be a flat fee
based on your
satisfaction.

The band, DJ, wedding coordinator is also optional -
some couples decide
to provide a gratuity to them and some couples do not
- it is a nice
gesture if you feel that were above and beyond.  This
is in the range of
5% to 10% based on your satisfaction.
